What is the cost of Multitudes?
The Multitudes screener and foundational training are available at no cost to California public schools and public charter schools. Optional additional training is available at a minimal cost.
What are the steps to adopt Multitudes?
Register your interest and our team will guide your LEA through setup and provide a Terms and Conditions document for authorization.
What grade levels can use Multitudes?
Multitudes offers assessments for grades K–2 in English and Spanish, with instructional resources also appropriate for upper elementary students needing literacy support.
Can we screen more than once a year?
Multitudes is designed for once-per-year screening per language. Bilingual students may be screened once in each language.
How do students interact with the screener?
Multitudes is administered one-to-one, with engaging characters guiding the child. Administrators mark responses, ensure comprehension, and encourage participation.
Can Multitudes be used in an active classroom?
We recommend a quiet space. Headphones help if ambient noise may distract the student.
How is the screening language selected?
The Administration Manual includes a Screener Language Matrix to guide selection based on a child’s primary language and your instructional model.
What are the technical requirements?
Use two internet-connected devices—one for the student and one for the administrator—with updated Chrome or Safari browsers and stable Wi-Fi.
